Introduction
Welcome to XPCOM. This program was written to fill a void that has
existed in commercial software for digital communications. The user
interface has been designed to reduce the overall "learning curve"
normally associated with this type of product.
XPCOM was written originally for the MFJ-1278, however, it has also
been structured to work with the AEA PK-232. Operation for the
PK-232 has been optimized to use AEA's HOST mode.
I hope that you will find this program both user friendly and easy
to use. Special thanks go to Mike Henry N5AQM, Morgan Hoaglin, WW7B,
Larry Winslow W0NFU, Gary Moore AH6KM, Jack Buekelman AA6OK, Fred
Griffee N4FG and Doug Alspaugh WA6IEL for their ideas for the
program, as well as BETA testing the various versions.
